ProxiVision offers specially developed power supplies for the safe operation of various kinds of Image Intensifiers. Each type of power supply is available as a separate box or as “wrap-around” (also called “integrated”).
The latter ones are potted into an annular, cylindrical housing together with the Image Intensifier. Separate power supplies are supplied in a rectangular mumetal housing. The free cable ends are connected to the corresponding cables of the Image Intensifier or MCP detector.
The power supply itself just needs to be supplied by +5 to +12 VDC. MCP gain is adjusted by varying the corresponding control voltage between 0 and 5 V continuously using any adjustable low-voltage external DC voltage source.
